The museum on Rodziewiczówny Street in Kołobrzeg gathers wax figures of well-known people, from film actors to athletes and pop-culture characters. The display occupies an indoor venue a few minutes from the seaside promenade and the spa district, within walking distance of the beach and the pier.
The collection covers faces known from the screen and the music stage, sporting stars and characters from film franchises: superheroes, pirates and wizards. The figures are arranged in small scenes you can step into for a photograph, and that is the main way of visiting. Look closely at hands and facial features, where the craftsmanship shows best.
It is a rewarding idea for a rainy afternoon with children, and walking the whole display takes roughly an hour. The exhibition is intimate, so outside the peak season there are usually no queues. Its location in the centre of the resort makes it easy to combine with the seaside park, the lighthouse or the marina.
