A museum in a former munitions factory

The Riese Molke Museum operates in Ludwikowice Kłodzkie in the Owl Mountains, on the grounds of the former Dynamit AG munitions works. It is run by the „Olbrzym” Museum and Tourism Centre, and the most recognisable structure of the complex is the concrete ring known as the Mill.

What to see

Visits are guided: the guide leads through the surviving military structures and explains how the factory was linked to the German underground complex Riese in the Owl Mountains. The display features militaria, technical equipment and local memorabilia.

Who it suits

The offer goes beyond the museum itself: trips to the Włodarz and Wacław underground sites are organised, while on site there is a zip line, a shooting range, paintball, airsoft and off-road rides. Organised groups use the field kitchen and the campfire area, so the place works well for team outings.
