The Museum of Manor House Interiors in Ożarów occupies a wooden noble manor from the 18th century and operates as a branch of the Museum of the Wieluń Region. The building is distinguished by its alcove rooms projecting from the corners, and the whole is surrounded by a park with a driveway closed by an oval lawn.
The interiors have been reconstructed with care for the realities of the period: two bedrooms, a dining room and a hunting room with trophies and a collection of sabres are among the rooms open to visitors. Furniture, fabrics and small items show the everyday life of a landed household.
The manor can be toured on your own, with an audio guide or with a guide, and a visit usually takes half an hour. The museum also serves as a local culture centre — musical evenings and artistic events are held here. Ożarów lies some fifteen kilometres from Wieluń, among quiet villages.
