Grodzisko 22, Wieś Ojców
Boroniówka is a former miller's settlement in the village of Ojców, in the heart of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, right beside Ojców National Park. The place keeps alive the milling traditions of the Prądnik valley: the layout of the farm buildings has survived together with the water-driven machinery that shaped life in the surrounding villages for centuries.
The origins of the mill go back to the 15th century, when it belonged to the order of Poor Clares. In 1816 it passed into private hands and remained a family holding for the generations that followed. Later rebuildings did not erase the old character of the settlement — parts of the timber structure and the workshop equipment remain.
Visitors can look inside the old mill and the water-powered sawmill, and walk around the farm buildings surrounding the yard. Inside are keepsakes left by former residents and craftsmen: machines, tools, household items and workshop fittings. The settlement is also used as a photography location.
