Park 2, Przeworsk
The museum in Przeworsk occupies a twelve-hectare palace and park complex, the former residence of the Lubomirski family. It comprises the palace, an orangery, two manorial annexes, the gardener's house, a guardhouse, the equerry's house, carriage-horse stables and a coach house. The whole lies in the centre of town, in the Podkarpackie region.
The palace interiors are arranged to show the daily life of a former manor — furniture, fittings and keepsakes of the owners. Further displays cover the townspeople and the region, crafts and the history of Przeworsk. A separate attraction is the collection of carriages kept in the former stables and coach house.
The English-style landscape park is crossed by the river Mleczka, which divides it in two. Mature trees line the paths: oaks, ashes, pines, planes, Weymouth pines and limes, along with exotic species — Kentucky coffeetree, Amur cork tree and false cypress. The museum runs lessons and workshops for groups of all ages.
