Laskowa 360, Wieś Laskowa
Skansen na Jędrzejkówce lies in Laskowa, in a valley ringed by the hills of the Beskid Wyspowy. It grew out of a private initiative and is still run by its owners, who care about preserving the material and spiritual culture of the region's inhabitants. A visit combines a walk around the outdoor display with a look inside the buildings.
The grounds hold about twenty structures moved here from nearby villages: a cottage from Raj, a smithy and a drying house from Michalczowa, a granary from Laskowa, a mill from Żmiąca, the chapel of St Ambrose and a goat pen. Inside the buildings waits an ethnographic display: everyday utensils, the fittings of craft workshops, dowry chests and 19th-century religious oleographs.
The place works well for family and group visits. Workshops are held for kindergartens and schools, classes for adults, and recurring events such as "Spinning at the family open-air museum" and experimental culinary archaeology. Because much of it is outdoors, it is best to come in good weather.
