The Museum of Technology and Transport — Art Depot occupies the hall of a former tram depot on Niemierzyńska Street in Szczecin. The tall, industrial interior houses a collection of vehicles that ran on the streets of the city and the region from the early 20th century through the communist era.
At the heart of the collection is the world's largest set of cars from the Szczecin-based Stoewer factory. The works operated from the mid-19th century until the end of the Second World War and released several dozen models: saloons, sports cars, electric vehicles, as well as coaches and lorries. Polish vehicles from the communist decades and the Wszędołaz and Beskid prototypes complete the display.
A separate section gathers motorcycles from interwar Poland, including the popular Sokół machines and a rare Tornedo with a Sachs engine. You will also see public transport rolling stock and vehicles of Szczecin's uniformed services. The hall is spacious and accessible for pushchairs, and an hour is usually enough for a visit.
