The Wincenty Witos Museum is located in Wierzchosławice in Tarnów county, on the farm that the three-time prime minister of the Second Polish Republic and leader of the peasant movement came from. The site is a branch of the museum in Tarnów.
A visit covers two groups of buildings. The Old Farmstead, with a dwelling house from the first half of the 19th century and a well with a shaduf, is where Witos spent his childhood and youth. The New Farmstead was raised by the owner himself between 1905 and 1916: a house, two barns, a stable and a cellar laid out around a quadrangular yard.
The interiors retain their original furnishings and farm equipment, shown alongside family mementoes: documents, photographs, personal belongings and historic banners of the peasant movement. The museum runs ethnographic workshops and classes for children and young people.
