Computer and Game Museum

The museum operates in Pabianice near Łódź and collects computer hardware and consoles from the closing decades of the 20th century. It is a collection opened to visitors: home computers, consoles, games and period trade press, arranged chronologically.

What to see

The core of the display consists of home computers and consoles — from PONG through the Atari 2600 to the NES and SNES. A large part of the exhibits is working and plugged in, so you can play on them. A separate section holds around 250 computer magazines, including Bajtek, Top Secret, Secret Service and Amiga titles, available to browse on site.

Good to know

The museum is small and works on a booked-visit basis — it is best to reserve by phone in advance. The exhibition is indoors, so it works in any weather; children and teenagers usually spend more time here than the hour-long tour assumes.

  • Ticket desk at the entrance
  • Playable stations with vintage consoles
  • Reading corner with a collection of computer magazines
  • Whole exhibition under a roof
Visit duration: approx. 1 hour Seasonality: Year-round
