Piłsudskiego 7, Kraśnik
A branch of the National Museum in Lublin devoted to the cavalry regiment garrisoned in Kraśnik before the war. The display fills three rooms and leads through the history of the unit — from its formation to its combat route during the Second World War.
Around two thousand exhibits and photographs have been gathered here: uniforms with equipment, decorations, soldiers' personal mementoes, drawings, watercolours and paintings by artists in uniform, candlesticks from field masses. A large part of the regimental archive, seals, original staff maps and a replica of the standard are also kept here.
The exhibition follows the fate of the uhlans and the places where they fought; the battles of Falaise and Chambois take pride of place. The museum also hosts meetings and anniversary events tied to the regiment's tradition.
