A slope within the city of Sosnowiec

Środula is a ski slope laid out on reclaimed post-mining land almost in the centre of Sosnowiec. Its proximity to the towns of the Upper Silesian conurbation makes it a popular spot for a short afternoon session without having to travel to the mountains.

Runs

Three slopes of varying difficulty are available: small, medium and large. All of them are floodlit, so skiing is possible until late in the evening. A separate zone with its own obstacles has been set aside for snowboarders and freestyle skiers.

Good to know

On site there is a ski and snowboard rental, an equipment servicing workshop and a sports shop with winter sports accessories. Beginners can use the ski and snowboard school, and instructor-led lessons are offered for different levels of ability. Conditions depend on the weather and snowmaking.
