A cross-border trail network

Biegówkowy świat is a network of cross-country ski trails around Duszniki-Zdrój, covering roughly 212 km on the Polish and Czech sides of the border. Individual loops range from 1.3 to 12.8 km and differ in difficulty, so a route can be matched to one's fitness. They run through the area of the Orlickie, Bystrzyckie and Stołowe Mountains.

Jamrozowa Polana

The reference point for the whole network is Jamrozowa Polana above Duszniki, home to the Tauron Duszniki Arena complex, managed by the municipal culture and sports centre. It is used by competitors and clubs, but the trails are also open to amateurs. Some sections are floodlit, which allows training after dark.

Good to know

The trails are groomed, and their profile — with numerous climbs and descents — can be demanding, so beginners should start with the shorter loops. Mountain shelters and huts stand beside some sections, offering a break during an outing.
