A station at the foot of Pilsko

The Pilsko-Jontek ski station operates in Korbielów in the Żywiec Beskids, on the northern foothills of the Pilsko massif, close to the Slovak border. It is one of the higher ski areas in the Polish Beskids, with snow cover that lasts a long time. Access runs along the road from Żywiec via Jeleśnia.

Winter

In winter there are seven downhill runs served by seven lifts and the „Baba” cableway. The Dimbo ski kindergarten operates at the station, taking children from the age of three and combining childcare with skiing lessons. For a break you can stop at Karczma Pod Polanką by the Kamienna-Solisko lift.

Summer and stay

Outside the winter season the Jontek-Buczynka summer lift runs, with a playground, a toddlers' corner and a barbecue spot beside it. The resort offers accommodation year-round as well as a pool and a sauna, so it often serves as a base for a longer stay in the Żywiec Beskids.

  • Car park at the base station
  • Karczma Pod Polanką inn
  • Playground and children's corner
  • Accommodation, pool and sauna
Visit duration: approx. 3 hours Seasonality: Year-round: skiing in winter, summer lift and recreation in summer
