A local station by the San

The Złoty Stok ski station operates in Krzeszów in the Nisko district, not far from Rudnik nad Sanem. It is a small, local resort used mainly by residents of the Subcarpathian region and by visitors looking for a short winter outing without travelling to the high mountains.

The slope and equipment

The station has a run about 500 metres long with a vertical drop of some 65 metres, which makes it a good place to learn and to ski at a relaxed family pace. The slope is floodlit, so skiing after dark is possible as well. On site there is a rental of skis and snowboards along with an equipment service, also available after the season.

Who it suits

The station is used above all by families with children and by beginners, who can sign up for lessons with an instructor. In winter ski competitions for children and adults are held here. A bar next to the slope lets visitors eat and warm up between runs. Operation depends on snow conditions.

  • Car park by the slope
  • Ski and snowboard rental with service
  • Bar serving hot food
  • Floodlighting for evening skiing
Visit duration: approx. 3 hours Seasonality: Winter season, subject to snow conditions
