  • Active Leisure
  • Ski Slopes
  • Cable Cars and Lifts

A resort on the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids

The COS Ski Resort operates on Skrzyczne, the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids, towering above Szczyrk. This is also the site of an Olympic Preparation Centre where Polish athletes train, so the sports facilities are among the best prepared in the region.

Runs and access to the slopes

Skiers have four runs totalling about 10 km: the easy Ondraszek and Widokowa, and the demanding Kaskada and FIS, very difficult in places. A cable car leads up from the bottom station in Szczyrk to Jaworzyna, followed by the Jaworzyna–Skrzyczne section; lower down, the Doliny II T-bar and the Doliny III button lift are in operation.

Outside the winter season

In summer Skrzyczne is an important junction of hiking trails in the Silesian Beskids. A wide panorama of the range opens from the summit, and just below the top there is a mountain hut where walkers can rest.

  • Car park at the bottom station
  • Cable car and T-bar lifts
  • Mountain hut below the summit
  • Food outlet
Visit duration: approx. 3 hours Seasonality: All year round; skiing in winter, hiking trails in summer
