Arena Narciarska Jaworki - Homole (Ski Arena)

A resort at the mouth of the Homole Gorge

Arena Narciarska Jaworki - Homole lies in Jaworki near Szczawnica, where the Radziejowa range meets the Małe Pieniny, right beside the well-known Homole Gorge reserve. The valley, sheltered by ridges, helps the snow cover last, and the runs open up views of the Pieniny peaks.

Runs and lifts

Six runs of varying difficulty are available, from around 200 to over 900 m long. A chairlift named Homole and the Krokus and Storczyk platter lifts carry skiers uphill. Run no. 1 is homologated for slalom and run no. 3 for giant slalom, so competitors train here as well. On site there is a ski and snowboard school, a rental, a service workshop and a sports shop.

Outside the winter season

In summer the lift takes visitors to the top, where hiking trails into the Małe Pieniny begin. There is a monster roller descent, a volleyball court and a playground, while the Homole Gorge itself is explored along a path running along the valley floor.
