A ski station in the Bieszczady

The Gromadzyń Ski Station lies on the slope of the Gromadzyń hill above Ustrzyki Dolne, at the gateway to the Bieszczady mountains. It is the most important ski resort in this part of the Podkarpacie region, used both by local residents and by tourists spending their winter holidays in the Bieszczady.

The runs

Three runs are available, 750, 800 and 900 metres long, differing in gradient. The 750-metre run holds FIS homologation for slalom, so competitors train here as well. The layout of the slope suits both those taking their first steps on skis and skiers looking for faster descents.

Facilities

A rental with carving and touring skis operates on site, along with a service where equipment can be sharpened and waxed. A ski school runs classes for beginners and advanced skiers, and an inn serving hot meals awaits by the bottom station.

Visit duration: approx. 3 hours Seasonality: Winter season, subject to snow conditions
