A station at the foot of the Gorce

Koninki Ski Station lies in Poręba Wielka, next to the Ostoja Koninki holiday resort, in the buffer zone of the Gorce National Park. It is one of the larger ski areas in the Gorce range, spread over the slopes of Tobołów. The proximity of the park boundary means that after skiing you can easily switch to hiking trails leading deeper into the mountains.

Runs and lifts

The resort offers five runs of varying difficulty, from a short 50-metre beginners' slope to the longest run in the Gorce, 1450 metres long and FIS-homologated. Skiers are carried up by the Tobołów cable car and the Hutek, Hucisko, Gigant and Starmaszka lifts. In total more than two kilometres of runs are floodlit, which allows evening skiing.

Beyond the downhill

Snowboarders have a snowpark with kickers, a mini quarter, a wallride and jib obstacles. Seven cross-country trails have been marked out nearby, and an ice rink operates by the station. On site you can rent skis, a board and skates, use the workshop and sign up for lessons at the licensed ski school.
