Podstolice 260, Wieś Podstolice
The Podstolice ski centre lies in the Wieliczka district, a dozen or so kilometres from Cracow, which makes it the ski station nearest to the capital of Lesser Poland. The gentle hills of the Wieliczka Foothills give slopes with a modest vertical drop, well suited to learning and to short, repeatable descents.
Skiers and snowboarders use six runs of different lengths, served by two T-bar lifts and a baby lift for children. All the descents are floodlit, so skiing continues after dark. A ski school runs holiday, weekend and school courses, and snowkiting workshops are also organised here.
Outside the winter season the area turns into Adventure Park Podstolice with a mountainboard centre and a mini zoo, so the place attracts families all year round. On site there are a ski and snowboard rental with a service point and an inn serving hot meals.
