Ski resort above Ustrzyki Dolne

Laworta Ski operates on the slopes of Mount Laworta above Ustrzyki Dolne, a town called the winter capital of the Subcarpathian region. The lift ride opens up a wide panorama of the Bieszczady Mountains, and the station itself is one of the main winter destinations in this part of the region.

Pistes and lifts

Altogether about three kilometres of descents have been prepared: three short beginner runs, two longer advanced pistes of more than a kilometre each and a separate snowtubing lane. All of them are floodlit. Uphill transport consists of a chairlift, two platter lifts and a magic carpet, while the main piste holds FIS homologation and hosts slalom and giant slalom races.

Who it suits

A separate nursery slope lets children take their first steps on skis safely, and a licensed ski school gives individual and group lessons regardless of age and level. There are a rental and a service point on site, and after skiing you can warm up by the fireplace in a restaurant serving regional dishes.

  • Car park at the base station
  • Restaurant with regional cuisine
  • Ski rental and service
  • Nursery slope for children
Visit duration: approx. 3 hours Seasonality: Winter season, depending on snow conditions
