The Multimedia Fountain Park lies in Warsaw's Podzamcze district, right below the Old Town escarpment and next to the Vistula boulevards. It consists of a main fountain, two linear fountains and a separate set of jets designed for children, surrounded by lawns and walking paths.
The installation has nearly 370 nozzles, most of them digitally controlled, while almost 300 RGB floodlights provide the colourful backdrop. Evening shows of water, light and sound run through the warmer part of the year, and in December the park turns into a space of festive illuminations.
The park suits families with children and casual strollers: admission is free, the ground is flat and accessible for prams. The Old Town Market Square, the Royal Castle and the riverside boulevards are a few minutes away, so a visit combines easily with sightseeing in the centre.
