The Sky Tower viewpoint occupies the penultimate storey of Wrocław's tallest building, more than 200 metres above the ground. It is the highest publicly accessible viewing terrace in Poland. The skyscraper combines office and residential functions; the entrance to the terrace is from Gwiaździsta Street, with a lift running straight up to the viewing level.
From the terrace the whole shape of the city becomes legible: the Old Town with its town hall, Ostrów Tumski, Centennial Hall, the greenery of the parks and the loops of the Oder. In good visibility the view reaches far beyond Wrocław — the Ślęża massif, Chełmiec and even Śnieżka, some hundred kilometres away, can appear. The glazing allows photography at any time of day.
Time on the terrace may be limited to around half an hour, so plan to take in the panorama straight away. The attraction works in any weather, though low cloud can hide the view. It lies close to the centre, in a complex with a shopping gallery and restaurants, which makes it easy to combine with city sightseeing.
