The Palace of Marianne of Orange rises on a hill above Kamieniec Ząbkowicki in Lower Silesia. It was built in the 19th century on the initiative of the Dutch princess Marianne of Orange, and its monumental neo-Gothic body with corner towers makes the building resemble a castle rather than a palace.
After the Second World War the building declined through the neglect of successive users. In 2012 it passed to the municipality of Kamieniec Ząbkowicki and, after protective works, opened to visitors the following year. The refurbished mausoleum has been accessible since 2018. Conservation and adaptation works continue, so the range of interiors open to the public varies.
The palace is surrounded by an extensive park and woodland with garden terraces descending towards the valley. Historic auxiliary structures survive here: the family mausoleum, the ruins of a hunting lodge and the former palace boiler house. The terraces offer a wide view over the Sudetic Foreland.
