Jedlinka Palace is an imposing 17th-century manor standing in a small Lower Silesian spa town surrounded by the ridges of the Wałbrzych Mountains. The building changed owners many times and was repeatedly remodelled. Today it combines a museum, a hotel and ballrooms, and a palace brewery operates here as well.
A guide leads visitors through the halls, telling the story of the palace and of the families that owned it. The visit is rounded off by a short film about the building, about Jedlina-Zdrój and about the wartime past of the Owl Mountains. A replica of the „Amerika” armoured train stands in front of the palace.
Children and teenagers can join learning-through-play sessions: porcelain, stucco, history and nature workshops. As the tour takes place indoors, the palace works in any weather and makes a convenient base for trips into the surrounding mountains.
