The Dzieduszycki Palace in Zarzecze is one of the grander aristocratic residences of the Subcarpathian region. It was built in the early nineteenth century in the neoclassical style at the initiative of Magdalena Morska née Dzieduszycka and her husband Ignacy. Today the building is a branch of the Museum in Jarosław — Orsetti House.
The rooms recreate arrangements from the first half of the nineteenth century. Visitors see original furniture, mementoes of the former owners and furnishings that make the everyday life of a landed household easy to imagine. The Dzieduszycki family is remembered as patrons of art and culture, and their residence was a meeting place for notable figures of the day.
An extensive English-style park surrounds the residence, with avenues and old trees — a walk through it is the natural complement to the museum visit. It is worth allowing time for both the interiors and the grounds.
