Ks. Brzóski 3 a, Wieś Korczew
The palace in Korczew was built around 1734 for Wiktor Kuczyński, known as the King of Podlasie, and the scale of the layout later earned it the nickname of the Wilanów of Siedlce. The residence stands on a bluff above the Bug valley, in the landscape of meadows and oxbow lakes typical of this part of Podlasie.
After the First World War the estate was bought back and rebuilt by Krystyn and Wanda Ostrowski. The next war, followed by the state takeover of the palace and its use for public purposes, brought the building to ruin. Only in the 1990s did the property return to the descendants of the former owners, the Ostrowski-Harris family, who continue its restoration to this day.
After a fire the palace remains closed to visitors, so its current status should be checked before setting out. Around it stretches a park with an enigmatic menhir, the small summer house called Syberia, and the chapel and well of Saint John of Nepomuk.
