Promenade in Krynica-Zdrój

Bulwary Dietla, Krynica-Zdrój

  • Nature & Landscape
  • Piers and Waterfront Promenades

The main axis of the spa town

The promenade in Krynica-Zdrój, running along the Dietl Boulevards and the Kryniczanka stream, is the heart of life in the resort. Both spa guests and residents walk here, and thanks to a renewal completed in 2022 the promenade gained a new surface, greenery and street furniture.

What you pass along the way

The promenade is lined with historic guesthouses and spa buildings with their characteristic wooden verandas, among them the Old Spa House and the mineral water pump rooms. Information boards describing their history stand in front of the buildings, some also prepared for blind and partially sighted visitors.

Who it suits

The walk is flat, comfortable and possible in any season, easy with children and a pram. Along the way there is no shortage of cafes, patisseries and stalls with regional souvenirs. It pairs well with a visit to the museum of Nikifor Krynicki, the naive painter associated with the town.
