A seaside promenade in Ustka

The Seaside Promenade in Ustka runs along the dune ridge above the beach, east of the harbour, and measures about 1,100 metres. A walking route was laid out here as early as the second half of the 19th century, when Ustka was starting out as a bathing resort; today it is one of the main goals of a stroll through the town.

What to see

The promenade begins near the lighthouse and the harbour and ends at a viewing tower that opens up a panorama of the beach and the coastal cliffs. Along the way you pass bars, ice-cream parlours, cafés overlooking the sea and souvenir stalls, as well as a bench dedicated to Irena Kwiatkowska, an actress associated with the resort.

Good to know

The promenade is open around the clock and all year, although some of the outlets work only in season. The surface is even, so the route suits pushchairs; in autumn and winter it can be windy here.
