A wooden pier on the Bay of Puck

The promenade pier in Puck is one of the main attractions of this seaside town in Kashubia. Built entirely of wood, wide and fitted with benches, it reaches out into the waters of the Bay of Puck. You can get here from the town promenade, from the park by the shore or along the cycle path running beside the coast.

Views and atmosphere

From the deck there is a panorama of the harbour, the beach and the bay, and in good weather the Hel Peninsula is visible on the far side. In the middle of the pier stands a distinctive round wooden building with a restaurant styled as a captain's cabin, open all year round. It is a popular spot for evening walks and for watching the sunset.

The surroundings

A marina operates right next to the pier, and the Bay of Puck is one of the best places in Poland to learn windsurfing. A walk along the deck takes about half an hour, entry is free, and the even surface allows access with a stroller.
