The little suns of Busko

The Walk of Fame in Busko-Zdrój is a series of commemorative plaques set into the pavement between the façade of the Łazienki spa house and the fountain, in the very centre of the resort district. Instead of classic stars, distinctive little suns were used here, a nod to the town's spa character.

Who the stars honour

The avenue commemorates opera singers and classical musicians associated with the Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival. The unveiling of another sun is a fixed point of the festival programme, and the ceremony gathers audiences and visitors. Among those honoured are Krzysztof Penderecki and Bogusław Kaczyński.

On a walk through the spa park

The avenue lies along the route of a walk through the spa park, so seeing it takes only a few minutes and fits naturally into a tour of the resort. There are plenty of benches, greenery and places to rest nearby.
