A reservoir in the Kozi Bród valley

The Kozi Bród reservoir lies in Siersza, a district of Trzebinia, on the stream of the same name. The watercourse rises in the Myślachowice forests, in a deep ravine, and along its way fills retention basins linked to the former Siersza power plant before heading towards Jaworzno. Woodland surrounds the water, and the gentle banks make it a popular place of recreation for residents of the Chrzanów district.

What you can do here

A leisure centre operates by the water with sports facilities: a tennis court and pitches for volleyball, basketball and beach volleyball. There is also a bandshell with a dance floor, a café, a playground and a guarded swimming area with water equipment for hire. In summer the place is busy; out of season it mainly serves walkers and anglers.

The surroundings

Forests with a network of tracks and paths suitable for walking and cycling stretch all around. Trzebinia, Chrzanów and Jaworzno are close by, as are the trails of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland.
