The fishing ground run by Stawy Milickie S.A. is located in the Barycz Valley, within a complex of breeding ponds in Ruda Sułowska near Milicz – one of the largest pond areas in Europe. Stawy Milickie is a historic carp-breeding centre, and the fishing ground itself is sometimes advertised as one of the largest carp fisheries on the continent.
The facility lies in the heart of the Barycz Valley Landscape Park, surrounded by extensive ponds and areas of high natural value (a bird refuge).
Anglers have fishing stands and shelters on the pond dikes at their disposal. No Polish Angling Association card is required for fishing; the condition is to report to the staff and pay the entrance fee. Permitted methods are bottom and float fishing (excluding spinning), with a maximum of two rods.
For recreational anglers and families; the fishing ground is available without an angling card.
Shelters on the dikes, the option to rent a rod and landing net, and a company keepnet for holding fish included in the ticket.
Season April–September. Hours: Mon-Thu 7:00-15:00, Fri-Sun and holidays 7:00-19:00.
