The Ustka lighthouse stands at the root of the eastern breakwater, right where the Słupia river flows into the Baltic. It consists of an octagonal brick tower joined to a lower keepers' house. The site lies in the heart of the port, a few steps from the passenger quay and the promenade, so visitors come across it on an ordinary walk through Ustka.
The tower stands out with decorative cornices, small roofs and more than a dozen windows of varying size, which sets it apart from the plainer lighthouses of the Baltic coast. Concrete and metal stairs lead upwards, and at the top you can see the arrangement of the lenses. The lighthouse was entered in the register of historic monuments in 1993.
The gallery offers a panorama of the harbour, the beaches and the roadstead. A local story tells of a ghost said to haunt the tower - it is worth asking the staff about it. The lighthouse is open to visitors seasonally, and reaching the top means climbing steep stairs.
