Karpik is a recreation and leisure centre with a fishery located in Graboszyce in the Zator commune, in the heart of the Carp Valley – a historic carp-breeding region (Zator carp is an EU protected designation of origin). The centre combines a commercial and a special (No Kill) fishery with accommodation and a restaurant.
The facility lies surrounded by forests in the Zator commune, near Kraków, Wadowice, Oświęcim and the Energylandia amusement park.
Two ponds: a commercial fishery (about 2.6 ha) and a special No Kill fishery. The dominant species is carp; other fish species also occur. Angling competitions are sometimes organised.
