ul. Latarników 7, Wieś Gąski
The lighthouse in Gąski, built in 1877–1878, is 50.2 metres high and towers over the whole village. In good visibility its light reaches about 36 kilometres, that is 19.5 nautical miles. The brick tower is listed as a historic monument and still serves as an active navigation mark.
A winding granite staircase leads to the top — the climb takes some stamina, but the reward is a wide panorama of the Baltic and the coastline. From the gallery you can see the neighbouring resorts of Sarbinowo, Chłopy, Mielno and Unieście, and inland a mosaic of fields and forests.
The former keeper's house stands beside the lighthouse, and several food and souvenir stalls operate around it; the grounds are tidy and pleasant for a short walk. The beach in Gąski is a few minutes away on foot, so sightseeing combines easily with time by the sea. The tower is also a landmark for drivers leaving the coastal road.
