The lighthouse in Eastern Darłówko stands right by the harbour entrance, where the Wieprza flows into the Baltic. It is 22 metres high, and a modern light on top of the tower guides vessels on a safe course. It remains an active part of the navigation infrastructure.
The tower was erected in the nineteenth century and rebuilt several times — its present shape dates from the last major renovation of 1927. The brick shaft with a viewing gallery stands out among the harbour buildings and is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Darłówko.
From the gallery you can see the fishing harbour, the movable bridge and a broad belt of beach stretching for kilometres along the coast. The visit takes little time and naturally combines with a walk along the quay, a trip on an excursion boat or an afternoon by the water.
