Góra Rzepka is an inanimate nature reserve on the southern side of Chęciny, covering the Rzepka and Beylina massifs and the wall of the former Korzecko quarry. It protects traces of old ore mining - oval sinkholes and pits left after the extraction of lead and silver ores.
Devonian dolomites and limestones were once quarried here. Today the European Centre for Geological Education of the University of Warsaw operates at the bottom of the pit, while the exposed walls clearly show karst processes and white calcite veins cutting through the rock. The slopes are covered with xerothermic grasslands and thermophilous scrub.
The summit is one of the better viewpoints in the area - in clear air even the distant Tatra Mountains can be seen. The reserve is crossed by the yellow Wierna Rzeka hiking trail, a path of the Świętokrzyski Archaeo-Geological Trail and the Świętokrzyski PTTK horse riding trail.
