Janów Lubelski
Uroczysko Kruczek lies in the Lasy Janowskie Landscape Park, on the edge of Janów Lubelski. It combines the natural values of a vast forest complex with the role of a place of worship and national remembrance, which is why it draws both tourists and pilgrimages.
According to legend Saint Anthony stopped here on his way from Leżajsk to Radecznica, and a spring gushed from beneath the stone on which he had rested. In 1773 a cross was raised to commemorate the event, and in 1982 a calvary with chapels and a way of the cross was built.
Several dozen plaques devoted to battles and partisan units of the Second World War are set out across the site; some stations of the way of the cross refer to the same history. The approach leads along the yellow Historical Trail.
