A summit above the Wilków Valley

Góra Wymyślona rises to 414 metres above sea level in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, between Łysica and Radostowa, above the village of Krajno Pierwsze. From the top there is a view over the broad Wilków Valley and the Klonów Range, and in clear conditions also over distant Carpathian ranges, including the Island Beskids and the Żywiec Beskids.

Nature

The slopes are wooded, with outcrops of Cambrian quartzitic sandstone protected as a natural monument. These are the rocks forming the core of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, among the oldest in Europe. The open parts of the slope reveal the characteristic mosaic of fields and forest typical of this part of the region.

Getting there

The summit is reached by the red Main Świętokrzyski Trail named after Edmund Massalski, one of the most popular hiking routes in the region. The climb is moderate and takes several dozen minutes. It is worth setting out on a clear day, as the view is the main reason for the ascent.
