Jeziorko Daisy is a nature reserve within the city limits of Wałbrzych, inside the Książ Landscape Park and the Świebodzice depression. Protection covers a former Devonian limestone quarry filled with water, together with the surrounding woods and grasslands. The name commemorates Princess Daisy Hochberg von Pless, the last owner of these estates.
The water body is also known as the Green Lake; its colour comes from dissolved calcium compounds and the reflection of the quarry walls. Steep rocky slopes bearing traces of reef limestone extraction rise above the surface. Swimming is forbidden and the banks are locally sheer, so it is best to keep to the marked paths.
Around 180 plant species have been recorded here, including 172 higher plants and 8 bryophytes, while 16 crustacean species were identified in the lake plankton. The green Trail of the Piast Castles and the blue Witoszów – Książ Castle trail cross the reserve, along with the nature education path „Jeziorko Daisy”.
