Ponds at the heart of Przemków Landscape Park

The Przemków Ponds form an extensive complex of water bodies within Przemków Landscape Park, surrounded by ash and alder riparian woods, meadows and clumps of willow scrub. The key point is a viewing tower reached by a path about 850 metres long.

The view from the tower

From the platform you look out over a panorama of thirty ponds and the mosaic of habitats around them. Close to 250 bird species have been recorded in the area and around 150 of them nest here, which makes the reserve popular with birdwatchers. Binoculars make the visit far more rewarding.

The surroundings

Nearby grow the monumental oaks Wernyhora and Chrobry, and the park also offers heathlands at their best in autumn, the Wilkocin bunkers and the sandy Kozłów Desert. All of it can be combined into one longer trip.
