ul. Jerzmanicka, Wieś Jerzmanice-Zdrój
Krucze Skały is a group of sandstone outcrops in the pit of a disused quarry at Jerzmanice-Zdrój, a few kilometres from Złotoryja. The walls rise directly beside the road, opposite the building of the old railway station, so the approach from the village takes only a moment. Stone was extracted here for decades, and the traces of that work now form a striking vertical section through the rock.
A trail with stone steps runs along the rocks, climbing to the edge of the cliff and allowing a full circuit of the formation — seen once from above and once from its foot. Continuing towards the nearby forest you reach St Hedwig's spring with an information board. More than a dozen climbing routes of a distinctly sport character have been laid out on the quarry walls.
Sandstone from Jerzmanice went to building sites across the region — it was used, among others, in the rebuilding of the Wrocław town hall. The site belongs to the Land of Extinct Volcanoes and you can collect a sticker for the Explorer's Passport here.
