A park by a former residence

The historic palace park in Łosiów covers more than five hectares and is what remains of a former manor and palace estate. It has kept its layout of informal avenues and glades, now followed by walking paths. This is the greenest spot in the village, popular with residents and passing travellers alike.

Trees and natural monuments

Over eighty species of trees and shrubs grow here, an exceptional number for a park of this size. Twelve specimens have been declared natural monuments — they are ringed with low fences and marked with boards describing each species. The oldest trees are around 250 years old.

A collection of exotic plants

The park's curiosity is its collection of species brought from Asia, the Far East, the Americas and the Mediterranean. Unusual leaf shapes, colours and scents turn a stroll into a botany lesson. A visit takes under an hour and fits well into a short stop along the way.
