The Pogoria reservoir complex in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Pogoria I-IV) arose on former mining land and forms the so-called Dąbrowa Lake District. All the reservoirs are prized fishing grounds in the Upper Silesian conurbation.
The reservoirs lie within the boundaries of Dąbrowa Górnicza in the Silesian Voivodeship, within easy reach of public transport.
Pogoria I (area approx. 73 ha, depth up to approx. 10 m) is designated by the Polish Angling Association with number 001; members of the Polish Angling Association may fish there. Besides angling, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing are popular.
