The Turawa Reservoir is one of the largest bodies of water in the Opole Voivodeship (area approx. 21-24 km2), an artificial retention reservoir on the Mała Panew River, built between 1933 and 1939. The complex comprises the Large, Medium, Small and Silver lakes. It is a popular fishing ground, next to which operates the Rybaczówka Angling and Tourism Centre of the Opole District of the Polish Angling Association.
The reservoir lies in the Turawa municipality in the Opole Voivodeship; the Rybaczówka Centre is located on the northern shore of the lake, on a peninsula.
Turawa is known for predatory fish - mainly pikeperch, as well as perch and pike; float anglers catch bream, roach, carp and grass carp. Temporary protected zones apply from 1 March to 31 May.
