Bajka Cave near the village of Gądecz in the Bydgoszcz district is a rarity for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region, which is almost devoid of cave formations. It lies within the Vistula Landscape Park and is protected as a monument of inanimate nature.
The cave was carved by erosion in Pleistocene sandstones with a fine-grained structure and carbonate cement. Because the grains are bound to varying degrees, water removed the weaker-cemented parts and sculpted an irregular interior. A curiosity are the dripstone forms about half a metre high, resembling frozen drops of lime milk.
The site consists of three parts: Bajka I, 19 metres long, the shorter ten-metre Bajka II, and Dziura z Filarkiem, reaching 1.5 metres in depth. The entrance is very narrow and moving inside is mostly done by crawling.
