Solna Jama lies on the slope of Czerniec Hill above the Gołodolnik stream, near the village of Gniewoszów in the Kłodzko district. It is a small cave — around 50 metres long and 5 metres deep — but one of the more interesting natural sites in the Bystrzyckie Mountains. The first records of it date back to the 18th century, when it was also known as the Gniewoszów Cave.
The cave was created by water washing out a lens of marble embedded in the surrounding metamorphic schists. The interior begins with a corridor that forks into two branches: the right one leads to a chamber with a karst pool, while the left one ends in a water sump.
The cave is undeveloped. A torch and a helmet are needed, as the passages are tight and low in places. The approach runs up a forested slope and can be slippery after rain, so well-gripping footwear helps.
