Fifteen kilometres through marshes and dunes

The Biała Przemsza Valley educational trail runs from Klucze to Dąbrowa Górnicza and measures about 15 kilometres. It follows the valley of the Biała Przemsza river, joining two entirely different landscapes: the wet Błędów Marshes and the sandy dunes of the Błędów Desert. The starting point is in Klucze, on Górna Street.

What you find along the way

Ten educational boards describing the flora and fauna of the valley are spaced along the route and illustrated with drawings. Visitors also have eight benches, three picnic shelters with tables and extra seating, and two observation towers at their disposal. The most striking feature is the 200-metre boardwalk over the marsh, from which the life of this wetland ecosystem can be watched without entering the terrain.

Planning your walk

The first six kilometres cross the Błędów Marshes, the following nine lead through the desert dunes. The route is flat but long, so many people walk it in sections or turn back after the boardwalk and the towers.
