The fish farm in Stobno covers more than 40 hectares, of which about 25 hectares are breeding ponds. The rest of the grounds consists of fields, meadows and areas arranged with visitors in mind. Development of the site began in 1990 and the farm has operated without interruption ever since, supplying fish to the neighbourhood and to travellers.
The core of the business is breeding table fish: royal carp, sturgeon, trout and silver carp. Fish can be bought straight from the farm or caught by visitors themselves, which draws anglers from across the region. There is also the Rybakówka fish fry on site, serving dishes prepared from freshly caught fish.
This is an idea for a quiet outing of a few hours in the open air: for anglers, families with children and travellers looking for regional food away from the beaten track. The dykes between the ponds invite walks and birdwatching, with waterfowl especially numerous in spring.
