Mt 5,14 | Museum of John Paul II and Primate Wyszyński operates in Warsaw's Wilanów district, inside the Temple of Divine Providence. The main exhibition is laid out beneath the dome, about 26 metres above the ground, making it the highest-situated museum in the capital. The exhibition space covers more than 2,000 m², and the visit leads along a gallery overlooking the church interior.
The exhibition tells the story of its two patrons — Pope John Paul II and Primate Stefan Wyszyński — against the turbulent history of the 20th century. The narrative relies on multimedia, artistic installations and stage design rather than display cases, so visitors unfamiliar with the subject find their way easily.
The building is adapted for wheelchair users, and so-called quiet hours have been introduced for visitors with special needs. Being indoors, it works in any weather.
